Question: Will the
Modstock system fit on all AR15 rifle variations?
Answer: The Modstock system will fit on any AR15, M16, M4 type
rifle or carbine that is fitted with United States military
and/or Colt tm dimensioned components. Please refer to the
Manual for detail information before ordering any Modstock
System.
Question: Can any Modstock system be mounted to a Post Ban (1994
Crime bill Assault Weapon) manufactured firearm?
Answer: Only the Rifle Modstock, when mounted to a Rifle "A2"
Receiver Extension, can be used on a Post Ban manufactured
Firearm. For further information check Legal Note of the
Modstock Manual.
Question: When mounting the Modstock system, what other parts
will be needed?
Answer: The Modstock system is a direct replacement stock for
the existing Rifle and Carbine AR type firearms. The only time
additional parts will be required is when mounting the Rifle
Modstock to an early style "AR" and "A1" configured rifle. The
qualified installer will need an "A2" Buttstock Adapter and Butt
Cap Screw to complete the assembly process safely. Please refer
to the Warning message and the Manual for detailed information
before purchasing any Modstock System.
Question: Is Vltor Weapon Systems developing any new products
for the future? If so, when will they be available?
Answer: Vltor is in a constant state of development. Exciting
new items are being developed to expand the Vltor product line.
Vltor is always looking for ways to better the existing product
line, so keep your eyes open on the Products page for new items
and information.
Question: What does VLTOR mean?
Answer: VLTOR is the ancient Roman spelling for the Latin word
ULTOR, meaning "Avenger". This word was commonly used to
describe the Roman God of War "Mars".
